It is trivially possible with a ‘Go-Fish’ style attack to learn information about Facebook users who have set their profiles to be private. Using this technique, it is possible to learn the sexuality and religion of the of the millions of Facebook users who have marked their profiles as private — and thus fully expect that no one else can view them.

The incident occurred on Monday afternoon when Mr Marius and his partner walked into 70 Whitehall, which houses the Cabinet Office.
The pair found themselves at the rear of the building, which backs on to Downing Street, without being challenged.
